In a recent survey of transportation providers, American Logistics ranked first in a list of the nation’s top five NEMT brokers. There are a few reasons for this: It was deemed to have the most flexible technology, fast payment processing, the most efficient routing, and the most robust support system.

This is just the latest accomplishment in the company’s over 25-year history of delivering non-emergency medical transportation solutions. American Logistics was also one of the first to partner with ridesharing applications like Uber, and is one of the few NEMT transportation brokers that maintains a comprehensive nationwide database of all qualified providers by county. About American Logistics NEMT Broker

American Logistics was founded in 1999 and is based in St. George, Utah. Since then, it has earned contracts with Medicaid health plans and Medicare Advantage plans across the country. One major reason for this is the way the company uses the latest technology to improve its offering, while simultaneously focusing on the human touch.

Where Does American Logistics Operate?

American Logistics operates across all 50 states. The company serves patients in hundreds of unique health plans nationwide, with particular focus on Medicaid and Medicare Advantage populations. It contracts with local and national transportation providers in every market it serves. In 2023, the company said it had a 99.8% grievance-free rate for all patient trips and then recorded the largest growth in company history the year after.

How American Logistics Builds Its Transportation Network

American Logistics works with a fleet of local and national transportation providers that undergo a thorough vetting process. All providers are sorted by a predictive analytics-powered algorithm that assesses factors like volume, trip length, inventory, and trip type. The NEMT broker also integrates with RouteGenie to streamline routing and trip management, ensuring that the quality of care is never affected.

Beyond that, American Logistics requires that its providers be qualified through its Safety Society program. This ensures all members have provided the required documents, all vehicles have been inspected, and business licenses have been verified.

Transportation providers and drivers must also pass background checks and undergo a drug and alcohol screening to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations.
